Remote AR Collection Specialist

Job Summary

Providing accounts receivable follow-up and denial management support, the full-time Remote AR Collection Specialist will ensure compliance with payer filing deadlines and resolve outstanding claims while adhering to regulatory and organizational guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outstanding accounts receivables and follow up on claims to ensure timely collection
• Utilize coding compliance knowledge to resolve claims management issues effectively
• Communicate with various internal teams to ensure adherence to billing processes and guidelines

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CPC-A, CCA, CCS, CCS-P, NCIS)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or medical billing
• Proficiency in ICD-10, HCPCS, CPT-4, and associated modifiers
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of physician billing, regulatory, and compliance guidelines
