Job Summary

To facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient community, International Audio/Video Remote Arabic Interpreters will handle telephone calls on demand, providing effective audio and video interpreting services remotely as independent contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining confidentiality and following professional interpretation protocols

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Arabic
• Proficiency with technology, including web-based platforms and Microsoft Word
• A quiet and secure interpreting space free from outside noises
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications or trainings preferred (e.g., CMI, CCHI)
