Job Summary

An architecture community is filling a position for a Remote Architecture Writer in Pasadena.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Researching stories, contacting sources quickly and digging out important details
• Reporting architecture news quickly, thoroughly, and thoughtfully
• Reformatting/optimizing media (images, gifs, video) as necessary, for the web

Qualifications Include:

• Excellent communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of key players in the architecture industry and important issues facing architects
• A degree in architecture OR a degree in another field with a deep passion and understanding of architecture
• Very polite yet aggressive to track down contacts/facts to complete tasks in a timely manner
• A keen eye for high-quality architectural design, with an impressive list of favorite architects/buildings
• Examples of excellence in writing for an online publication
