Remote Armenian Interpreter

Job Summary

Seeking qualified independent contractors, the remote Armenian Interpreter will perform Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) and Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) assignments, ensuring accurate and impartial communication while adhering to ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate accurate communication by faithfully interpreting spoken content into Armenian without alterations
• Maintain impartiality and confidentiality while interpreting, adhering to the interpreter's code of ethics
• Continuously improve interpreting skills and provide top-tier customer service to clients and end-users

Required qualifications

• Absolute fluency in English and Armenian
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential interpretation duties effectively
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Competence in presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings
