Remote Assistant Controller
Job Summary
Overseeing a portfolio of 5-6 clients, the full-time Remote Assistant Controller will manage full-cycle accounting, prepare financial statements, and serve as a financial partner to businesses ranging from under $1M to $10M in revenue, all while working remotely within the ET or CT time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of clients, including hands-on full-cycle accounting
- Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for clients
- Analyze financial results and identify trends and opportunities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required
- Experience working in complex accounting environments, such as multiple entities or locations, required
- Experience leading month-end close and preparing financial statements required
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, required
