A payment technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Assistant Controller.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Leading quality control processes to optimize processes
- Generating and reviewing internal financial statements
- Calculating journal entries related to our core loan portfolio
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in accounting with international experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- 3+ years lending or fintech experienceSelf-starter with initiative and ability to operate in a fast paced environment
- Passion for elevating use of innovative financial tools (SQL, Snowflake, R) and reduction on reliance of excel
