Job Summary

A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Assistant Controller.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Primary being responsible for all contract booking accounting and customer invoicing
• Owning the financial close process and all associated processes
• Planning, directing and primary ownership of all accounting operational functions

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Proven track record of being a top contributor or leading and developing high-performing accounting teams
• High attention to detail and will dig into transaction details to ensure you have a strong understanding of the facts
• Big 4 CPA with 4+ years combined accounting experience or 5+ years of industry experience
• Experience with ERP systems and cloud-based accounting systems required, preferably with QuickBooks Online
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing - you have the ability to break down complex accounting issues and articulate points clearly
