Job Summary
A software development company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Assistant Controller.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Primary being responsible for all contract booking accounting and customer invoicing
- Owning the financial close process and all associated processes
- Planning, directing and primary ownership of all accounting operational functions
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Proven track record of being a top contributor or leading and developing high-performing accounting teams
- High attention to detail and will dig into transaction details to ensure you have a strong understanding of the facts
- Big 4 CPA with 4+ years combined accounting experience or 5+ years of industry experience
- Experience with ERP systems and cloud-based accounting systems required, preferably with QuickBooks Online
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing - you have the ability to break down complex accounting issues and articulate points clearly
