A higher education software solutions company has an open position for a Remote Assistant Controller.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting in financial statement preparation, consolidation, and analysis
• Assisting in coordination, preparation, and responses for audits
• Assisting in the training and development of accounting staff

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 5 or more years of progressive experience in accounting
• Solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
• Strong knowledge of debits and credits, internal controls, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
