Remote Assistant Controller (CPA)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller (CPA/SaaS/RevRec).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Support the accounting team with reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation standards
• Oversee cash positioning and the Accounts Payable function while managing vendor relationships

Required Qualifications

• CPA certification required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in Public Accounting and the Software/SaaS industry
• Experience with U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606
• Familiarity with SaaS billing engines and automated collection/AP tools
