Job Summary

An insurance company is seeking a Remote Associate Actuary.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Review and make critical underwriting criteria recommendations based on data and inspection reports
  • Develop a ground up process for actuarial indications and state filings for commercial and homeowners' products
  • Build creative and insightful ad hoc reviews on various actuarial topics including trends, reserve development, loss modeling, and more

Position Requirements Include:

  • Knowledge of various DOI communications and requirements for multiple states
  • 5+ years' experience in the P&C or related industry accompanied by fresh ideas on how it can be done better
  • Experience using video and chat technology (MSTeams & Slack)
  • Demonstrated advanced skills in various computer programs and languages including but not limited to tableau, R, python, mySQL, dataiku, excel
