Job Summary

A marketing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Associate Counsel in Philadelphia.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Identifying contract concerns and determine course of action to resolve any issues
• Researching and preparing employee-facing guidance on novel topics of marketing and advertising law, among other areas
• Participating in the contract life cycle, from providing counsel pre-contracting to drafting agreements and conducting contract negotiations

Qualifications Include:

• Significant experience in drafting, analyzing, amending, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Experience working with third-party commercial contracts (not real estate contracts)
• Ability to identify and analyze key issues and react promptly and appropriately
• High energy and enthusiasm, self-motivated, able to work independently but wise enough to know when to ask for guidance
• Knowledge of key points in marketing, promotions, social media, and SaaS transactions
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house
