Job Summary
An educational provider is in need of a Remote Associate English Language Arts Content Specialist in Alexandria.
Must be able to:
- Apply content expertise in expertise in English language arts to projects
- Develop and revise item specification documents, test blueprints, and supplementary material
- Develop and revise formative, interim, and summative classroom assessments aligned to student learning targets
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- The selected candidate will work in our Washington, D.C. office or, if exceptionally well qualified, telecommute from a home office beyond the greater Washington, D.C. area
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is preferred) in English, English Language Arts Education, Reading Education, or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience teaching English language arts courses in a K-12 setting
- 3+ years’ experience providing direct support for the design and development of K-12 educational assessments
