Job Summary
A global healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Associate General Counsel.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing transactional support for the Growth team to offer legal support and guidance to sales functions and the contracting team
- Reviewing contract language to ensure consistency/eliminate conflicts (e.g., in terminology/language)
- Drafting/updating standard language for contract templates
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Juris Doctorate degree and a bar admission in at least one (1) state
- 7+ years of legal experience, with specific, documented experience in contracting drafting and negotiation
- Experience working in a matrixed environment and with sales teams as part of a large in-house legal team
- Solid transactional negotiation and drafting skills
- Experience working on agreements in the health care industry with specific experience working on healthcare consulting agreements
- Solid business acumen
