Job Summary

A healthcare and insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Associate General Counsel.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing legal counsel to various commercial pharmacy business committees
  • Assisting with regulatory investigations and responses
  • Providing legal support and benefit interpretation related to plan benefit documents

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Juris Doctorate degree
  • License to practice law in one or more states
  • 5+ years of relevant professional legal experience in an attorney capacity
  • Expertise, judgment and presence to advise senior leadership on legal matters
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations within the healthcare and/or pharmacy industry
  • 3+ years of experience in one or more of the areas of health insurance, pharmacy benefit management, or the managed care industry
