Job Summary
A non profit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Associate Legal Advocacy Counsel.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide legal research and drafting support
- Support the investigations team with legal research
- Develop and manage legal campaign actions, volunteer outreach, and other public policy-related programs
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admitted to practice law in at least one US state
- 2+ years of experience with lobbying and public policy work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Proficiency in legal research database operations
- Strong negotiating skills
- Superior interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
