Job Summary
A staffing company has a current position open for a Remote Associate Medical Safety Director in Durham.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing medical expertise on Pharmacovigilance services to all divisions as requested
- Attending and contributing medical safety evaluation on Safety Monitoring Committees
- Providing medical escalation support for medical information projects
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- The ability to travel based on client or company needs, approximately 10% of time
- A medical degree from an accredited and internationally recognized medical school
- A valid medical license, or equivalent, from the country or region in which he/she resides and works
- Knowledge of clinical trials and pharmaceutical research process
- Five years of medical safety or medical monitoring experience in the pharamceutical or associated industry
- 5 years experience practicing clinical medicine after award of medical degree
