Job Summary
A technology company has an open position for a Remote Associate Sports Editor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Using Facebook and Twitter to grow the brands and audiences surrounding your site(s)
- Providing daily content and write at least 25-35 articles a week
- Maintaining a strong group of contractors for added voices to your site(s) and edit their work as needed
Position Requirements Include:
- 1-3 years of digital sports editorial writing experience
- Ability to edit the work of contributors in a timely manner according to our style guide
- Ability to multitask and prioritize different objectives
- Passion for and intermediate knowledge of all major sports
- Ability to quickly produce clean and interesting analysis on a variety of trending/viral topics, multiple times a day
- Capacity to say more about a trending topic than what has already been said
