Job Summary
An information management company is seeking a Remote Associate Technical Writer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Plan and write security software guides, knowledge articles, as well as other documentation
- Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals in accordance with project scope
- Manage updates and revisions to technical literature, and ensure assigned projects and tasks remain on schedule
Qualifications for this position include:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience per Journalism / English / Communications / Computer science / Engineering
- 2+ years experience writing or editing content for a variety of audiences
- Documenting for operating system environment
- Working with users to document processes and procedures
- Familiarity with XML or HTML
- Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills
