Remote Associate Technical Writer

Job Summary

An information management company is seeking a Remote Associate Technical Writer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Plan and write security software guides, knowledge articles, as well as other documentation
• Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals in accordance with project scope
• Manage updates and revisions to technical literature, and ensure assigned projects and tasks remain on schedule

Qualifications for this position include:

• BA/BS or equivalent experience per Journalism / English / Communications / Computer science / Engineering
• 2+ years experience writing or editing content for a variety of audiences
• Documenting for operating system environment
• Working with users to document processes and procedures
• Familiarity with XML or HTML
• Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills
