**About Us:


InquisitHealth helps patients manage chronic conditions and live healthier lives. As an Asthma Peer Mentor you will work with mentees learn to successfully manage their condition. We will pair you with others who have asthma or have a child with asthma. You will be mentoring him or her through one-on-one phone calls, email messages and online support.

As an Asthma Peer Mentor you have the opportunity to make an immense impact on an individual's life.

You can participate on your own schedule and from the comfort of your own home.

Requirements of the position:

- Respiratory Therapist or Certified Asthma Educator (AE-C)
- Must live with the condition yourself or have a child with asthma
- Have a minimum of 10 hours/week to devote to mentoring (between the hours of 9:00am-10:00pm EST 7 days/week)
- Have a computer with internet access (and an email address)
- Internet upload speed of at least 10mbps
- Able to type at least 20 words per minute

Desired skills and qualifications:

- Empathy to be a peer mentor
- Written and verbal communications skills
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred, but not required
- Time management and scheduling skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple platforms and systems to meet the needs of peers.
- Experience with Google Apps applications
