Remote Australian English Content Editor

Job Summary

An educational technology company is in need of a Remote Australian English Content Editor.

Must be able to:

• Correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar following standard conventions of Australian English
• Review content for grade-level appropriateness, completeness, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
• Ensure overall quality and consistency of language arts content plus copyediting to improve format and style

Required Skills:

• Have a BA/BS degree with superior writing and editing skills
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an editing role and strong communication skills
• Impeccable knowledge of Australian English grammar and mechanics
• Understanding of K–12 students’ reading and knowledge levels with a passion for English education
• Familiarity working with style manuals and guides (e.g., The Chicago Manual of Style)
• Deadline oriented with pProficiency in Google Docs and Google Sheets
