Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Remote Authentication Staff Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Establishing standards for development teams and leading initiatives
  • Using a customer-centric approach to lead design decisions that improve scalability and performance
  • Developing fellow teammates by conducting code reviews, providing mentorship, pairing, and training opportunities

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience
  • 7+ years experience in Object Oriented Programming fundamentals, Test Driven Development, and Design principles (Ruby on Rails)
  • Experience in working with asynchronous requests in large scale applications
  • Experience in working and developing RESTful APIs
  • Experience leading large initiatives with the ability to course-correct as needed
  • Expertise with authentication methods including SAML, OAUTH2, MFA, FIDO
