A healthcare revenue cycle management company. has a current position open for a Remote Authorization Coordinator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with client hospital patients
- Initiate contact with insurance companies
- Create timely insurance authorizations
Position Requirements Include:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in authorization field
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations and anatomy
- Advanced knowledge of Health Insurance guidelines
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type fast and accurately
