Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Authorization Nurse in Pittsburgh.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between care managers and payors
- Ensure clinical review process is followed
- Identify and assign a root cause to each case
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to work remotely and travel as required
- Licensed registered nurse
- Licensed in Pennsylvania and obtain New York license within 30 days of hire
- 5 years of acute care clinical experience
- 2 years payer or care management experience.
- Understanding of clinical and care management process
