Job Summary
A non-profit health care system has a current position open for a Remote Authorizations Pre-Service Representative in Phoenix.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing payment plans for all patients that are not able to pay their full liability
- Conducting internal/external customer interactions over the phone
- Completing and/or attending training and education sessions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Hospital Administration or equivalent work experience
- Clear understanding of the impact financial counseling has on Revenue Cycle operations and financial performance
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to use PC based office productivity tools
