Job Summary

A non-profit health care system has a current position open for a Remote Authorizations Pre-Service Representative in Phoenix.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing payment plans for all patients that are not able to pay their full liability
• Conducting internal/external customer interactions over the phone
• Completing and/or attending training and education sessions

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Business, Hospital Administration or equivalent work experience
• Clear understanding of the impact financial counseling has on Revenue Cycle operations and financial performance
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to use PC based office productivity tools
