Remote Auto Damage Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a full-time, remote Auto Damage Appraiser with a focus on estimating, aimed at candidates with a mid-level experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write fair and accurate estimates and supplements for auto and/or specialty vehicle damage in compliance with insurance carrier guidelines
• Maintain documentation of all interactions with insurance carriers and their customers
• Manage and maintain virtual relationships with teammates, managers, and directors while working remotely

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of auto damage estimating experience
• Extensive knowledge of automobile parts and repair techniques
• Thorough understanding of vehicle repair, parts costs, total loss classification, and fraud detection practices
• Experience in one or more estimating platforms: Mitchell, CCC One, and/or Audatex
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
