Job Summary
A financial services firm has a current position open for a Remote Automation and Cloud Technical Consultant in Saint Louis.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Planing, developing, and executing automation across platforms and teams
- Improving the agility and availability of the computing platform and eliminating process waste
- Designing, implementing and supporting virtualization platform running on VMware vSphere
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field, or relevant experience
- 7 or more years’ experience in system administration
- Knowledge of both Linux and Windows OS
- Knowledge of DevOps practices
- Understanding of hardware, operating systems, storage, replication, and network technologies
- Ability to leverage major vendors’ technologies to perform the planning and execution of platform currency, computing capacity, projects, and research efforts
