Remote Automation Engineer II
Job Summary
A software company is filling a position for a Remote Automation Engineer II.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Evangelizing workflow and systems automation in all aspects of internal processes
- Working with our vendors to get the most out of systems APIs and integrations
- Continually evaluating the effectiveness of our tools and processes between various systems
Position Requirements Include:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role that included developing and managing python scripts
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role that included deploying, maintaining, and securing Linux based systems
- Experience developing code to interface with external systems via API calls
- Experience working with any of the following technologies a plus: Rest APIs, XML, JSON, PHP, PowerShell, Apex, MySQL, Git
- Familiarity with configuration management, orchestration, and desired state tools such as Ansible
- Familiarity with modern app deployments utilizing containerization and Infrastructure as Code
