Job Summary
An automotive magazine is in need of a Remote Automotive Content Assistant Editor in El Segundo.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- ingesting and transcoding all footage for assigned shows
- Creating, preparing, and organizing for edit, following standards and guidelines set by Lead Assistant Editor
- Exporting sequences for finishing; color, sound, as well as assembling upon return
Position Requirements Include:
- Work is performed remotely, with infrequent visits to the studio
- At least 2 years previous experience in video/television post production, or equivalent education and experience
- Avid Media Composer, Resolve, Pro Tools, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Transcoding
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Mac OS X
- The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen
