Job Summary
A not-for-profit organization has an open position for a Remote Aviation Domain Specialist in McLean.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting Special Activity Airspace implementation efforts
- Utilizing existing airspace and procedure design / analysis tools
- Evaluating the impact and feasibility of proposed new concepts
Qualifications for this position include:
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree
- Significant experience either as a using agency or controlling agency for Special Activity Airspace
- Critical thinking
- Ability to work collaboratively with other aviation stakeholders, and experience working with diverse teams
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to convey complex airspace concepts
