An information technology consulting company has an open position for a Remote Aviation Safety Data Scientist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Improving the safety of civil aviation and the National Airspace System
• Working closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs
• Digging into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle

Qualifications Include:

• 10+ years of experience in aviation safety data analysis
• Experience with GE Digital’s Event Measurement System
• Experience collaborating with the aviation safety community
• Experience using data visualization software and tools, including Tableau
• Experience using relational database systems, including SQL
• Experience using Python programming in support of aviation safety risk monitoring
