Job Summary

An insurance and financial services company is seeking a Remote AWS Data Engineer III.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Using models as a starting point for designing and developing technologies across multiple teams that enable new, or enhance existing, business capabilities
  • Evaluating options; performing tradeoff and cost benefit analyses for multiple teams
  • Working quantitatively; setting the standards for their area while cultivating partnerships with Enterprise partners

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Be an expert in production data pipeline development, automation, and implementation over the last eight or more years with AWS Tech Stack - S3, Lake Formation, Glue, Athena
  • Be an expert in production data pipeline development, automation, and implementation over the last eight or more years with Snowflake Data Platform
  • Be an expert in production data pipeline development, automation, and implementation over the last eight or more years with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery experience
  • Have experience with moving from Informatica/Teradata on prem to AWS Cloud environment
  • Have experience helping to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the department and the larger organization
  • Value different ideas and opinions
