Job Summary

An insurance and benefits provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote AWS Data Stream Lead Principal Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading the design and implementation of Event driven streaming ETL with Kafka, ksqlDB, Kinesis
  • Designing highly scalable ETL processes with complex data transformations, data formats including error handling and monitoring
  • Providing conceptual and logical data architecture to support data organization

Qualifications Include:

  • 8+ years of successfully delivering software products in a complex, enterprise environment
  • 3+ years development experience with AWS Solution Architect and implemented best practices
  • 4+ years development experience with Java, Node.JS, Express framework development technologies
  • Expert in Agile development/methodologies, Test Automation and TDD, CI/CD, Devops
  • Development experience with AWS API Gateway/Lambda/RDS-MySQL/DynamoDB
