Job Summary

A mutual life insurance company has a current position open for a Remote AXIS Modeling Actuary.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Design/Build/Maintain/Support efficient AXIS models
  • Act as liaison to update valuation model to other usages
  • Test, analyze and explain modeling results and attribution results

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s with a Mathematics, Finance or Computer/Data Science, Actuarial Science or related field
  • Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA)
  • 5+ years of actuarial experience
  • 3+ years of AXIS modeling
  • Strong technical skills and actuarial knowledge
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups
