Job Summary
A translation and interpretation company has an open position for a Remote Azerbaijani Interpreter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Serving as a Bilingual Azerbaijani English Phone Interpreter
- Responding to the interpreting sessions promptly and conducting interpretation in a friendly and professional manner
- Rendering correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English and skilled in the associated cultural dynamics
- Ability to provide cultural competency and assess regional and accent differences to find ways of communicating with the Limited English-speaking Person (LEP)
- Demonstrated excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation
- At least 18 years of age
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Ability to speak clearly in both languages using proper pronunciation, enunciation and polite expressions
