Remote Back End Engineer

Job Summary

A comp[any that designs and develops security technologies is in need of a Remote Back End Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Leading backend development on internal and customer facing projects
• Building APIs and data delivery mechanisms for applications
• Monitoring, understanding inefficiencies, and improving the data pipeline

Required Skills:

• 5+ years industry experience building and scaling web applications and APIs
• Deep experience with Python and Django
• Experience building data-centric applications
• An understanding and appreciation for application performance monitoring and profiling tools
• A desire to define, document, and teach web engineering standards
• Strong writing skills, with experience crafting clear and concise documentation
