Job Summary
An information technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Back End Engineering Team Engineering Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Determining engineering and infrastructure needs
- Helping prototype potential solutions and making build vs. buy vs. maintain decisions
- Driving continuous improvement over time through process, tooling, and analysis of our systems holistically
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years experience building / leading teams
- 2+ years direct management experience
- Proven ability to attract, retain and develop key and diverse talent
- 8+ years of experience building well-tested, scalable, distributed, high-volume, low-latency systems
- Expertise with relational databases
- Advanced knowledge in at least one programming language
