Job Summary
A car insurance company has a current position open for a Remote Back End Senior Ruby Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, building and maintaining backend Ruby on Rails application
- Owning features end to end while working with your scrum team to ensure success
- Scaling, extending, and maintaining cross-functional APIs
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Fluency in Ruby/Ruby on Rails and RSpec or similar testing frameworks
- Thorough understanding of RESTful API conventions and web fundamentals
- High standards for quality and attention to detail
- A holistic understanding of the full development lifecycle
- The ability to handle ambiguity and transform it into robust software
