Job Summary
A financial technology company is filling a position for a Remote Backend Engineering Team Lead.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Recruiting, onboarding, and retaining talented software engineers
- Translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Managing backend API integrations with 3rd-party vendors and partners
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 7+ years of Software Development experience
- 1+ years of experience mentoring or leading a team of engineers
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
- Good experience with API frameworks
- Experience with API security standards and implementation (OAuth,)
- Solid understanding of REST API design and development with experience building REST APIs
