Job Summary

A financial technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Backend Services Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Writing critical, performance sensitive code that the organization depends on when delivering customer-facing applications
  • Designing, implementing, and rolling out systems instrumental in our company's growth and global expansion
  • Working effectively with all members of our services team

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of backend software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java
  • Proficiency in at least one cloud-native or messaging technology such as Kubernetes, Istio, containerization, Kafka, etc
  • Proficiency with relational and non-relational datastores
  • Proficiency in CI/CD, monitoring, and logging systems
