Job Summary
A healthcare software developer needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Backend Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building new backend services using Typescript on Node.js, open source technology and tools including NestJS
- Driving quality by writing effective unit, integration and functional tests for high availability systems and libraries
- Creating high availability and high throughput systems using Redis, Postgres, MongoDB, and AWS services
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to visit the Santa Barbara office regularly
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- 1-3 years designing and implementing backend services and distributed systems in a professional environment
- Proven strong grasp of Javascript/ES fundamentals, Typescript, or strong experience in another modern language
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) database design
- Demonstrated commitment to testing best practices
