Job Summary

A healthcare software developer needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Backend Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

Building new backend services using Typescript on Node.js, open source technology and tools including NestJS
Driving quality by writing effective unit, integration and functional tests for high availability systems and libraries
Creating high availability and high throughput systems using Redis, Postgres, MongoDB, and AWS services

Position Requirements Include:

Ability to visit the Santa Barbara office regularly
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
1-3 years designing and implementing backend services and distributed systems in a professional environment
Proven strong grasp of Javascript/ES fundamentals, Typescript, or strong experience in another modern language
Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) database design
Demonstrated commitment to testing best practices
