Job Summary

A healthcare software development company is filling a position for a Remote Backend Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leveling up other engineers with your expertise, and learn from their expertise
  • Building new backend services using Typescript on Node.js, open source technology and tools including NestJS
  • Driving quality by writing effective unit, integration and functional tests for high availability systems and libraries

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) database design
  • Experienced working with asynchronous requests in large scale applications
  • Strong grasp of Javascript/ES fundamentals, Typescript, or strong experience in another modern language
  • 1-3 years designing and implementing backend services and distributed systems in a professional environment
  • Commitment to testing best practices
