Job Summary
A healthcare software developer is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Backend Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work with the rest of the team to maintain and grow features in the backend Node.js code base
- Support Node.js web facing APIs and write SQL queries
- Build new backend services using Typescript on Node.js, open source technology and tools including NestJS
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel to visit the Santa Barbara office regularly
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
- 1-3 years designing and implementing backend services and distributed systems in a professional environment
- Demonstrated strong grasp of Javascript/ES fundamentals, Typescript, or strong experience in another modern language
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) database design
- Experience working with asynchronous requests in large scale applications
