Job Summary

A health and exercise company has an open position for a Remote Backend Software Engineer III.

Must be able to:

Assist in the leading of engineering project initiatives
Engage in code-reviews as a mentor and peer
Build and maintain APIs that drive our user's experience

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Experience building high request volume APIs for a multitude of clients
Experience with a variety of API design patterns, such as REST & GraphQL
Experience with a variety of data stores (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis)
Experience with high volume messaging queues such as Kafka
Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters in AWS and/or other cloud computing platforms
