Job Summary
A health and exercise company has an open position for a Remote Backend Software Engineer III.
Must be able to:
- Assist in the leading of engineering project initiatives
- Engage in code-reviews as a mentor and peer
- Build and maintain APIs that drive our user's experience
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Experience building high request volume APIs for a multitude of clients
- Experience with a variety of API design patterns, such as REST & GraphQL
- Experience with a variety of data stores (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis)
- Experience with high volume messaging queues such as Kafka
- Experience deploying Kubernetes clusters in AWS and/or other cloud computing platforms
