Job Summary
An educational technology company is seeking a Remote Backend Staff Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Architecting, designing and developing new web applications, APIs, services, tools, and distributed systems
- Being primarily focused on the backend of Freckle's SaaS products
- Mentoring and supporting more junior developers in the organization
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience conducting code reviews, providing feedback to other engineers
- Strong knowledge of and experience with the functional programming paradigm
