Job Summary
A marketing technology company is seeking a Remote Backend Staff Software Engineer in New York City.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Design, architect, and build performant, reliable, high-quality systems at scale
- Own projects end-to-end, including gathering requirements, crafting, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining systems
- Work multi-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and engineers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 7-12 years of meaningful professional experience
- B.E./B.S. in: (i) Computer Science, (ii) Computer Engineering, (iii) Information Sciences, (iv) Electronics, (v) Mathematics
- Significant programming expertise with languages such as Python, C++, Java, or Go
- Track record of delivering high quality products and a knack for getting things done
- Deep understanding of stream processing, big data, microservice architecture, distributed systems
