Job Summary

A banking and financial services firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Banking Design System and Design Engineering User Experience Director.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Owning the strategy/design/partnership of their design system between product management, engineering and other groups
  • Mentoring, motivating, coaching, and managing UX design & engineering colleagues to achieve defined goals
  • Being accountable for the performance, quality control, and the results of a group of UX practitioners

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 10+ years in design with some mix of front-end development (HTML5, iOS, or Android)
  • 3+ years in team management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (i.e. Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or New Media)
  • or comparable work experience with a Bachelors in Art, Design or other field
  • Expertise in native mobile or web development
  • Knowledge of the latest UI/UX prototyping tools, trends and best practices
