Job Summary

A financial technology and banking company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Banking Senior Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing journal entries by analyzing and interpreting financial transactions
• Identifying and establishing key metrics and analytics
• Contributing to the month/quarter/year-end close process, including internal control related aspects and internal/external audit

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and foundational accounting concepts (such as debits and credits)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or reconciliation experience
• Public accounting experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and various departments
• Capable of handling multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
