Job Summary
A manufacturing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Battery Packs Project Engineer in Towson.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating working models of new product concepts using 3D CAD software
- Creating 2D drawings, stack up analysis and possess a firm understanding of geometric dimensioning
- Utilizing analysis tools, develop simulations and conduct laboratory bench testing
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years engineering design experience
- Familiar with design of injection molded plastic parts, stamped metal parts, selection of contact materials
- Highly proficient in 3D CAD software, 2D drawing generation and PLM software
- Demonstrated ability to work in team environment
- Must be able to work with a global team including remote design and manufacturing centers
