Job Summary
A behavioral health solutions company has an open position for a Remote BDU and Appeals Manager.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Ensure that the BDU and Appeals department processes all determinations and appeals in accordance with referred time frames and other contractual legal requirements
- Conduct audits and monitors individual and team performance for compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor appeals and grievances and provides senior leadership with monthly reporting on trends
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least five years post-licensure experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or managed care setting
- At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
