Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote BDU Clinician.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Monitor IRO and Physician Advisor timeliness and provide reminder communication as needed
- Monitor time standards and assist reviewers with adherence to time-frames
- Administer through OPTAMUM outcome letters for mailing in accordance of various requirements
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Has a current, unrestricted license issued by a state or territory of the United States to practice independently as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist OR
- Registered Nurse in the state in which the business operation is located and/or other states as required by law, regulation or contract
- Experience with UM processes in accordance to URAC and NCQA
- Ability to comprehend medical policy and criteria to clearly articulate health information
- Strong clinical skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct clinical care experience with patients in facility-based and/or outpatient psychiatric
